DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 01: ARRIVAL TO LIMA

International flights not included. Assistance is provided upon your arrival at Lima International Airport and transfer to your hotel. There, you will receive a tour briefing as well as other information about how to organize your Peru trip. Overnight in Lima. Meals included: None.

Day 02: LIMA CITY TOUR

Guided sightseeing tour of Lima, the "City of Kings“, the most attractive and essential landmarks. The tour begins in the residential districts of San Isidro and Miraflores, passing by the Huaca Pucllana, the ceremonial and administrative center of the Lima Culture erected in the II century A.C. that the Incas designated "Ñaupallaqta" or Sacred Town. We will also visit "El Olivar" park, which has olive trees brought from Spain in the XV century, the Central Park of Miraflores, and Larcomar, a symbol of modern Lima and a tourist and entertainment center, as well as a privileged location to enjoy an incredible view of the Pacific Ocean. Finally, we'll visit Lima's Historical Center, passing by Plaza San Martin, Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the City Hall, the Cathedral and its Religious Art Museum, and Lima's Colonial Balconies. Also, we‘ll visit the Convent and Church of San Francisco, the greatest monumental complex of Colonial Art in America and Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Overnight in Lima. DAY 03: LIMA - CUSCO / CITY TOUR

At convenient time, transfer to Lima airport to board your flight to Trujillo. At your arrival, welcome and transfer to your hotel. After that, we will departure to Moche Valley. On arriving to the Moche valley, you will be received by a traditional family that descends from the ancient people who built the Sun and the Moon amazing pyramids, the center of power in the northern coast of Peru during Moche times. Get impress in front of a stunning set of mud-brick friezes on the walls of the Temple of the Moon excavated by archaeologists. Ending, you will be able to appreciate several artifacts and tombs of the Mochica Culture at the on-site museum Huacas de Moche, which is displaying various utensils and high artistic ceramics. Then, we will return to the hotel for rest. Overnight in Trujillo. Meals Included: Breakfast at your hotel

DAY 04: CUSCO / SANCTUARY OF MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO

At a convenient time, transfer to train station in Poroy for take your expedition train to Aguas Calientes. At your arrival in Aguas Calientes, you will start your tour with an 30-minute bus drive, climbing 6km of winding road, to the incredible Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, also known as "The Lost City of the Incas". We'll participate in a guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and various burial grounds. Then, we take the bus back to Aguas Calientes. You will have a delicious buffet lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch, you will go to the train station and wait for your train ride back to Cusco. Overnight in Cusco. Meals Included: Breakfast at your hotel and buffet Lunch

DAY 05: CUSCO / JAEN / CHACHAPOYAS (Stopover in Lima)

Breakfast at the hotel. At a convenient time, transfer to Cusco Airport to take your flight to Jaen with a stopover in Lima. Domestic flight to Jaen not included. Arrival in Jaen and transfer to your hotel in Chachapoyas (4 hours). Overnight in Chachapoyas. Meals Included: Breakfast at your hotel

DAY 06: CHACHAPOYAS / SARCOPHAGUS OF KARAJIA AND QUIOCTA CAVERN

Breakfast at the hotel. We begins our trip towards the town of Cruz Pata from this point we will walk 25 minutes to the funeral site of Sarcophagus of Karajia, set of Funeral statues, located in a inaccessible rock cliff. Subsequently our mobility we will move to Luya - Lamud, there you can enjoy a delicious lunch regional (by their own arrangement). Continuing with our visit, we enter the Quiocta Cavern where we can observe thousands of stalagmites and stalactites of different shapes and sizes, this place the ancient Chachapoyas used it as cemetery on the tour we can appreciate skeletons scattered throughout the environments Return to Chachapoyas, overnight. DAY 07: CHACHAPOYAS / FORTIFIED CITY OF KUELAP

Breakfast at the hotel. We will leave for the fortified citadel of Kuelap, after about 45 minutes, we will arrive at the archaeological zone of Macro observation and explanation of the housing complex built on the slope of a hill, then we move to the town of Nuevo Tingo, subsequently to the boarding station and exit platform to address the first system of Peru's cable cars (cable car) these take us on a 20-minute trip along 4 kilometers, we arrive at Malca Pampa, then we will walk about 20 minutes to enter Kuelap, in this place a professional guide with extensive experience will explain the historical process of Kuelap during 3 hours that lasts the visit, we go through different places like, enclosures ceremonial, the main temple, circular rooms, etc. Return in cable cars to Nuevo Tingo, there you can have a regional lunch (by their own arrangement). And at the end, return to Chachapoyas. Overnight in Chachapoyas. Meals Included: Breakfast at your hotel

DAY 08: CCHACHAPOYAS / GOCTA WATERFALL

Breakfast at the hotel. At the indicated time we will be transferred in a vehicle to the town of Cocachimba, 1 hour away from Chachapoyas, minutes later we will arrive at the town of Cocachimba, from there we will start the one-way walk for 2 hours until we reach the water fall of the Gocta Waterfall (771 meters high considered the third highest in the world) we will arrive to the amphitheater of the waterfall. Sighting, taking pictures, bathing, etc., return 2 hours of walk to the town of Cocachimba, you can taste a typical lunch (by their own arrangement). We will return to Chachapoyas. Overnight in Chachapoyas. Meals Included: Breakfast at your hotel

DAY 09: DEPARTURE FLIGHT

Breakfast at the hotel. At a convenient time, transfer to Jaen Airport to take your flight to Lima and connect with return flight home. Domestic and International flights not included. Meals Included: Breakfast at your hotel
