DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 01: ARRIVAL TO LIMA

Upon your arrival to Lima International Airport, our local representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. There you will receive a briefing on your tour; receive vouchers covering all the services included in your tour and additional information on the organization of your trip. Overnight in Lima. Meals Included: None

Day 02: LIMA TO CUSCO

At a convenient time, you will be transferred to Lima airport to take your flight to Cusco. Upon your arrival to Cusco Airport, you are going to be picked-up and transferred to your hotel in Cusco. Rest and adapt to altitude. Overnight in Cusco. Meals Included: Breakfast.

DAY 03: CUSCO

HD CUSCO CITY TOUR (SHARED SERVICE) At according time, pick up from the hotel to start our excursion to the city; we will walk toward main streets and squares, we could appreciate colonial houses and palaces, we will visit the Korikancha Palace, Santo Domingo Convent and the Cathedral. After this amazing experience we will go away from the city to visit four archeological sites: Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park, an impressive fortress of colossal dimensions; Qenqo Ceremonial Center; Tambomachay and its sacred fountains of life; and Puca Pucará viewpoint and watchtower which guarded the city entrance. Overnight in Cusco. Meals Included: Breakfast.

DAY 04: SACRED VALLEY

Today in the morning, our guided visit to the Sacred Valley will take place. We will start the tour departing through the fertile countryside, arriving to the colonial town of Pisac, where a colorful market will welcome us. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, passing through the Towns of Calca and Urubamba, we visit the Inca Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, built to guard the entrance to this part of the Valley, and protect it from possible invasion from the tribes in the Lower jungle. You can walk through the quaint streets of the nearby Town and get a good idea of what this Strategic Military, Religious, and Agricultural Centre was like during the era of the Inca Empire. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Cusco. Meals Included: Breakfast & Lunch.

DAY 05: CUSCO TO MACHU PICCHU

Today, you will be transferred from your hotel to Poroy Train Station in order to take your train to Aguas Calientes. After that, you will walk to Aguas Calientes Bus Station in order to take your bus to the incredible Machu Picchu followed by a 30-minute bus drive, climbing 06 km of winding road. MACHU PICCHU TOUR (SHARED SERVICE) Upon arrival, you will participate in a guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and various burial grounds. Then, you will enjoy your lunch in a Local Restaurant in Aguas Calientes. Finally, you will go to your hotel. Overnight in Machu Picchu Town. Meals Included: Breakfast & Lunch

DAY 06: MACHU PICCHU TO CUSCO

Excellent opportunity to wake up early and enjoy with a beautiful sunrise as well as stroll by the Town of Aguas Calientes and visit its Hot Springs Thermal waters. Then, you will have time to perform some of the following activities: (not included in the overall tour price). Visit the Citadel of Machu Picchu for the second time. For the most adventurous people, we suggest to go up the Huayna Picchu (if it is not raining) from where you can appreciate the immensity of Machu Picchu, even more amazing being high and distant. Arriving at the top takes about two hours and a half and it must be before 13:00 hours. It is necessary to register in a office at the beginning of the trail. An exciting adventure for the travellers who want to see, from the top, the nature and the carved stone emerging from the ground as a geological miracle. After that, you will go to Aguas Calientes Train Station in order to take your train to Poroy. Finally, you will be transferred from Poroy Train Station to your hotel in Cusco. Overnight in Cusco. Meals Included: Breakfast.

DAY 07: CUSCO TO PUNO

At a convenient time, you will be transferred to Cusco bus station to take your tourist bus to Puno. TOURIST BUS FROM CUSCO TO PUNO (SHARED SERVICE) On the road we will know attractions like the people of Andahuaylillas and the Church of San Pedro, also known as the Sistine Chapel of America. Then, we will visit the archaeological center of Raqchi, an impressive building made to the Wiracocha God. We will continue our route to Sicuani were we will take lunch and then we depart to La Raya, the highest point of the route (4335 m.a.s.l), we will spend about 10 minutes to make photos. At last we will know the people of Pukara, with a guided museum site appreciating archaeological remains of the highland Andean cultures. Upon your arrival to Puno, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Puno. Meals Included: Breakfast & Lunch.

DAY 08: PUNO

FD UROS & TAQUILE (SHARED SERVICE) At according time, we will start our lakeside guided tour to the highest lake in the world the “Titicaca Lake” (3810 m.a.s.l), located in the Altiplano, we will visit the Uros Islands using small boats, this ethnic family lives in floating islands of totora reeds. We continue to Taquile island (4040 m.a.s.l) where we will discover one of the most beautiful andean places with plenty of hills and archaeological sites, weaving is the main activity and garments made with high technical fabric designs shows their daily lives. Return to Puno in the afternoon. Overnight in Puno. Meals Included: Breakfast & Lunch.

DAY 09: PUNO TO LA PAZ

Departure from your hotel in Puno to the bus station, bus trip (tourist bus/shared service) towards Copacabana in Bolivia (3hrs 07:30PT/11:30BT) – reception and start of the tour, visiting their wonderful church and the Dark Virgin – Afterwards departure by private motorboat (2 engines) to the legendary Island of the Sun – visit to the Inca Palast of Pilkokaina and from there on Inca paths we take a walk to Yumani to visit the Inca Garden and Fountain – than we reach the newly build TACANA LODGE in order to have a delicious lunch on shore of the lake and with a unforgettable view – Afterwards back to Copacabana the same way and from by private bus to La Paz crossing the Bolivian high-plato. Arrival in La Paz and to your hotel. (20:00 aprox.). In the evening, you will enjoy your dinner at hotel’s restaurant. Overnight in La Paz. Meals Included: Breakfast.

DAY 10: LA PAZ TO BUENOS AIRES

At a convenient time, you will be transferred to La Paz airport to take your flight to Buenos Aires. Upon your arrival to Buenos Aires Airport, you are going to be picked-up and transferred to your hotel. Meals Included: Breakfast.

DAY 11: BUENOS AIRES

HD BUENOS AIRES CITY TOUR (SHARED SERVICE) Discover the beauty and wonders of Buenos Aires; view the National Congress, The Metropolitan Cathedral next to the Government House in may square area. Admire the Colon Theatre, one of the most important opera houses in Latin America. Visit San Telmo, traditional neighbourhood where Tango performances can be seen in many bars and restaurants. Stop at La Boca colourful neighbourhood, which was, seat of immigrants – manly Italians – and now home of some artists. Overnight in Buenos Aires. Meals Included: Breakfast.

DAY 12: DEPARTURE FROM BUENOS AIRES

At a convenient time, you will be transferred to Buenos Aires airport to take your flight back home. Meals Included: Breakfast.
